Best Lunch Spots in Santa Fe, New Mexico

Harry's Roadhouse

Mucho Sandwiches (Google Map)

Incredible sandwiches and great place to grab-and-go with lunch during the week. This is our go-to spot to grab lunch during busy days when you don't have much time to sit and enjoy the ambiance. (The sandwiches are great, but there's not a ton of space for seating in this restaurant.)

Vinaigrette (Google Map)

This gourmet salad and sandwich shop is a great place for a healthy lunch. Much of the restaurant’s organic produce is grown on owner Erin Wade's 10-acre Nambe farm, Los Portales, harvested within hours of arriving at Vinaigrette's kitchen. When not grown at the farm, the restaurant strives to source local and organic ingredients. As one local publication put it "Eating well never tasted so good."

Plaza Cafe Downtown (Google Map)

The Plaza Cafe, Santa Fe’s oldest restaurant, has been serving dishes since 1905. As the name suggests, it's located right in the heart of Santa Fe along the Plaza.

Shake Foundation (Google Map)

Fantastic burger spot. The green chile burger is out of this world. Shake Foundation has nice outdoor seating. The fries are also fantastic.

El Chile Toreado (Google Map)

This is a favorite of locals. This food truck is famous in Santa Fe. It has some of the best tacos, burritos, quesadillas, hot/polish dogs in town.

Tesuque Village Market (Google Map)

Tesque is an awesome little village about 15 minutes from Santa Fe. If you drive, be sure to take the scenic route (Bishop’s Lodge Road), not the highway. The Tesuque Village Market is really the only place for breakfast or lunch in Tesuque. It's open 9 AM to 8 PM. If you’re feeling celebratory, try the margaritas made with 1800 Blanco rum and Cointreau.

Santacafe (Google Map)

This is a more upscale lunch option with a beautiful courtyard. It’s open for dinner as well. You might need to make a reservation before going here on busy weekends or summer nights.
